FORMAT: (Round Robin/Showcase style)
PBE events have been traditionally very helpful to the programs in attendance in that we offer the unique schedule with a round robin/showcase style format to allow teams to know their 3-4 games schedule to plan accordingly for the full weekend without waiting around trying to figure out the playoff or consolation schedule (as long as weather cooperates/permitting)
Development/Exposure : this format also allows for great development opportunities for coaches to have open substitution, Diamondkast scorekeeping/stats to the PG website,  and to have flexibility in line ups/pitching rotations for any scouts who want to see your players or in attendance.

EVENT RULES:
-Open Substitution for defensive positions
-Batting line up must stay consistent-can use a DH, EH, and/or XH
-All games are 1 hour and 55 minute time limit if at end of an inning. No inning starts after 1 hour and 55 minutes. Once inning is started you finish the inning.
-Wood/Metal bats are to be used
-Run rule: "only after 5 innings"-if a team is ahead by 8 or more runs after the 5th inning, then the game is complete.
-Both teams must put in 3 “new” game balls per game at the beginning of the game
-All teams must show sportsmanship at all times
-Clean all dugouts after your team plays.

BASEBALLS:
Just a reminder as Premier Baseball Events does not supply baseballs for the games and each teams' coach will need to hand the umpire 3 "new" balls at the beginning of each game.
And each team is responsible for retrieving foul balls on their dugout's side.
-if any balls are lost you may throw in another new baseball or option to throwing in a used baseball as long as it is in equal/good condition in regards to the in game baseballs currently in play

PERFECT GAME HISTORY
The Perfect Game network began in 1993 with a vision from former scout and college coach Jerry Ford.
That vision was simple: "To give young players the best opportunity for success, to help scouts and recruiters
see and evaluate these players, and to promote the game of baseball at all levels".

Perfect Game has been hosting elite amateur events all over the country since 1997.
Talk about credibility and reputation.
