Event Information

This is the 2nd annual Perfect Game California World Series (Upperclass), which will take place in Fresno, CA at various ballparks in the area. Only teams residing in the State of California are able to participate in this tournament. This will be a strict invite only tournament with 16 teams selected.  Teams are able to request for the Coastal Division.

BAT TYPE: Wood bat only. Must be composed of one solid piece of wood. Composite bats are not allowed.

ENTRY FEE: $1000/team

AGE LIMIT: 2016 Graduate

COOLERS: Coolers/drinks will NOT be allowed. 

GAMES: 4 guaranteed, weather permitting. Teams are expected to be able to play Saturday October 3rd at 9AM. 

FORMAT: 16 teams will be divided into 4 divisions. Each division will include 2 SoCal teams and 2 NorCal teams and will only play the opposite region. 2 points will be awarded to region for a win, 1 point will be awarded to region for a tie. Overall region champion will be declared, SoCal vs NorCal.

HOTELS: All teams will be required to book housing through Grouphousing. You will be notified as soon as we are ready to start accepting reservations.

Format

California World Series Pacific (Upper) Format

- 12 total teams

- 3 pools of 4 teams

- Teams will play a single game Saturday and double header Sunday

- All pool winners will advance to Semifinals

- Top 2nd place team from all pools will advance to Semifinals

- Pool winners will be seeded 1-3 and wildcard will be seeded 4

- Two teams from the same pool will not be matched up in Semifinals, seeds 3 and 4 will be switched if wildcard matches up with 1 seed

- Home team will be determined by higher seed throughout playoffs

- All teams that do not advance to playoffs will be scheduled a consolation game for 4th game
