Gianni Heidenberg (2028 OF, Laurel, MD) lacks strength right now at 5-6/125
but he's athletic in the box and has a loose and extended swing that drove some
to the right center field gap. He's a strong bet to keep getting batter
with physical maturity.
Connor Doxey (2027 C, Bristow, VA) has very strong hands and uses them to
create hard line drive contact when he's barreled up. He'll keep improving
with adjustments to keep his timing more consistent.
Justin Collins (2028 SS, Herndon, VA) has some nice hand quickness and gets
the barrel into the zone well. He has a ton of projection in his 5-10/135
frame.
Beau Daniel (2027 1B, Ashburn, VA) has some real strength in his 6-0/180
frame and he can put a charge into the ball when he gets the barrel to it. The right handed hitter has some easy adjustments to make to get him shorter to the ball.
Padraic Bodenstein (2027 LHP, Scottsville, VA) stands out with his 6-2/180 frame and the right handed hitter (left handed thrower) creates some real jump off the barrel when he gets his weight shift right.
Ryan Mendrysa (2028 SS, Ashburn, VA) does an outstanding job of sinking into his hips and hitting from the ground up. He filled up the middle of the field with hard line drive contact.
Walker McElwain (2027 1B, Alexandria, VA) repeats his swing very well for a big and strong hitter and his simple approach enabled him to drive the ball hard all over the field during his round.
Ryan Welch (2027 1B, Mechanicsville, MD) is probably the strongest young man at the event and it showed in his batting practice. He has nice flow to his swing and can really turn on the ball.
Corey Mack (2028 SS, Upper Marlboro, MD) has lots of strength to add to his 5-11/140 build but he has a loose and clean swing that produced lots of barrels and projects well.
