Landon Stump is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Morgan Hill, CA who attends Live Oak HS. Long and lean build with a plus projectable frame overall. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the outing. Athletic delivery with a rocker step into a leg lift above the belt. Gets into the backside well and moves down the mound nicely. Repeats well and can land the slider really well. Shorter break to breaking ball but adept at locating it and tucking it underneath the hands. Changeup has sinking action to it in the same velocity bend. Above average fastball command and sat right around 90 mph for the duration. Solid strike thrower with obvious velocity upside as we've seen in the past. Great student. Verbal commitment to UCLA.
