Adrian Blanchet is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Capistrano Valley Christian Schools. Extra-large, broad shouldered frame with present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Right-handed pitcher, leg lift up and meets hand set in crouch at top of delivery, works to an over-the-top release point, has solid arm speed coming through the backside, throws with intent and effort at release. Fastball topped out at 95 mph and lived low-90s comfortably; curveball showed above average at its best with big sweeping finish and 11-5 shape through the zone up to 81 mph. Firm changeup up to 88 mph and able to miss bats with, continued to refine feel for the pitch throughout out. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Southern California.
