Ryan Sloan is a 2024 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Elmhurst, IL who attends York. Big and physical build with good present strength. Easy low effort delivery, gets into his strong lower half well. Fastball worked up to 96 mph, mostly straight, maintained his velocity well, velocity comes pretty easily. Slider and change up were both quality pitches that created swing and miss. Change up replicates release and arm speed very well and was effective against left handed hitters. Slider had big sweeping action and sharp biting action. Three pitch starter profile with good command. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic Team.
