Tanner Carson is a 2025 SS/IF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Carroll. Large fame with a well-proportioned strong and athletic build. Primary shortstop, clean and athletic mover with solid range to both sides, balanced at receiving it and funnels it clean, solid arm across and comes out easy, projects well there long-term. Right-handed hitter, wide base and strides in well, sinks into his legs some and gets into good strength there; clean and controlled process, good length through the zone and gets slightly lifted on his path, has good extension out front and really comes off well when squared, showed comfort against velocity in game action hammering a double to the pull gap off an 87 mph fastball. Great student. Named to South TP Games Top Prospect List.
