Camden Minacci is a 2020 RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, high waist with room to fill and develop moving forward physically. Quick-twitch athlete, posted a 6.61 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, up-tempo/high energy delivery, slight turn step moving into a high leg lift up past belt; lands slightly open with strike foot down the mound but shows a quick and online arm stroke through the back. Works on top of the ball well form a high three-quarters release point, lots of looseness to arm and delivery. Fastball topped out at 88 mph and maintained velocity well, can work to either side of the plate and plays up through the zone from hiding it in the back. Shows occasional cut to fastball; mixed in a 10-4 shaped slider and maintained arm speed well, up to 77 mph and threw the pitch with comfort and confidence. Maintained velocity well through outing and repeats mechanics, filled the strike zone while mixing throughout and missing bats. Excellent student. Named to Junior National Top Prospect List.
