Daniel Dewey is a 2021 RHP/SS with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Murfreesboro, TN who attends Rockvale. Tall and strong athletic build. Compact arm stroke, well controlled slow to fast delivery mechanics, repeats his mechanics well and threw strikes. Low 90's fastball, topped out at 95 mph, gets good downhill angle down in the zone and showed the ability to get the ball to both sides of the plate, showed nice running action at lower velocities. Primary fastball pitcher, tends to slow his body and his arm on his curveball and change up. Ability to develop these pitches will be key to his development and ceiling. Good student, verbal commitment to Middle Tennessee State.
