Chase Horst is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Manheim, PA who attends Homeschool. Medium athletic build, young look with physical projection remaining. Slow paced to fast delivery with some energy at release, especially on his fastball. Raw stuff was much better from the wind up than from the stretch this outing, up to 89 mph on his fastball out of the windup, more 84-86 mph from the stretch, fastball has nice arm side running life at times and gets off barrels. Still developing consistency on his curveball and change up, flashes quality and both improved as he threw more and more with them and got out front on his curveball and maintained his arm/body speed on his change up. Young left hander with athleticism and arm strength who will keep improving. Good student.
