Dylan Davis is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Redmond, WA who attends Redmond HS. Very strong sculpted athletic build, retains athletic looseness. Power arm, warms up at 91 easy, steady 92-95 to hitters with minimal effort. Slider flashes hard downer bite in mid 80's, potential 2nd plus pitch. Easy slow paced delivery, repeats well, good lower body base to throw from, hides ball in arm circle and hitters don't see it, struck out all 6 hitters faced. 6.83 runner, shows bat speed, short to the ball. Former primary OF prospect with obvious high ceiling potential on the mound. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon State. Selected to the Aflac All-American team.
