Owen Boyer (2025, Franklin, TN) led off the game with a really nice piece, sending a liner the other way for a backside base hit. The left-handed bat possesses a smooth and functional stroke with a fluid barrel through the zone. The backstop also caught a runner stealing, delivering a perfect throw to catch them.
Porter Hay (2026, Lewisport, KY) showed some very good stuff on the mound. Starting for Maroon, the righty sat in the 82-84 range, displaying a full three-pitch mix. The curveball featured tight spin and the change plays well off of the heater.
Blake Cope (2026, Zionsville, IN) drove a ball into left centerfield for a double in the top of the fourth. The Indiana native is physical with strength out front and very god power projection moving forward.
Mattox Hinkle (2024, Washington, IN) was impressive in his outing. The right-hander lived in the low-80s and worked from a really nice tempo. Hinkle also showed plenty of comfort in a tight cutter than worked in the mid-70s.
Garrett Church (2026, Goreville, IL) picked up a base hit, powdering a liner into center field. The ball jumps off the bat with ease and there is certainly upside and thump in the stick.
Aidan Kletke (2024, Huntsville, AL) drilled a ball into the opposite field gap for a double in the bottom of the sixth. The bat speed is advanced, and he swings the bat with lots of intent. The athleticism translates on the mound as well, sitting in the low-80s with a quick arm.
Carson Pack (2025, Murfreesboro, TN) showed some bat-missing stuff on the bump. The righty sat in the 85-87 range, topping 88 with heavy downhill plane. Pack paired the heater with a big overhand curveball that he was able to land for strikes.
