Hunter Krainski is a 2026 C/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Spotswood, NJ who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. Krainski works from a medium broader frame with strength proportioned nicely throughout. Starting from his primary spot behind the dish, he displayed calculated mechanics with developing arm strength and accurate throws around the bag, ultimately posting a 2.26 pop time. As the actions become more fluid and Krainski gains additional ground in the footwork, expect that time to decrease. At 1B he started from a wider fielding base with quicker turns and reliable glove work to make plays asked of him and top out at 70 mph across the diamond. Offensively, the left handed hitter used an open stance with a compact hand set and hover leg trigger to produce line drive impact gap to gap. He remained level through the zone with the stroke translating in game, posting an exit velo of 79 mph. Ran a 5.65 forty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
