David Rodine is a 2005 third baseman/first baseman from Carmichael, California, with a large frame and strong athletic build. Rodine is a good left handed bat and has the ability to play either corner position in the infield. He has sure hands and nice foot work to position himself to get the good hops. He has a very quick accurate arm. Rodine shows some raw power, and the ability to drive the ball to right center field. He is a strong, athletic kid that should have a quality offensive season. He's a good player and his best years are still to come. David is an excellent student.
