Kobe Thrower is a 2028 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends St. Michael the Archangel. Tall, lean frame with long arms and good projection. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, medium base with high hands and a high back elbow in the stance. Coils into the back hip in the load, found the barrel often, hit line drives to the left-center gap consistently. Good barrel strength. Primary shortstop, long strides, clean backhand and works best to his right side, good arm across, up to 72 mph. Was very accurate and generates carry across. Also worked out in the outfield, fields the ball squared up with two hands, long arm swing to a high release, same arm strength that was shown in the infield workout. Recorded throws up to 72 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch, belt high leg lift to balance, front foot lands slightly open at foot strike, full arm action in the back to a high three-quarters arm slot. Front side opens up early at times, creates some run on the fastball, up to 72 mph (2071 RPM), and flashed a curveball, up to 63 mph (1909 RPM).
