Mark Huarte is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 6-0 153 lb. frame from Madera, CA who attends Madera. Features a tall, slender build with plenty of room to add. Ran an 8.14 60-yard. Caught the ball clean throughout infield workouts. Flashed the ability to work both ways. Continuing to develop footwork and fluidity will allow body to transition into throws more efficiently. Utilizes a narrow, slightly open stance in the box. Short, direct swing was geared toward the middle of the field. Big, hanging leg kick timing mechanism slightly hinder timing. Continuing to add strength will help develop more power. Showcased some fair stuff on the mound. Uses a tall and fall delivery with low effort used throughout. High 3/4 arm slot hides the ball fairly well. The fastball sat 74-78 mph with slight armside run. Threw the offering for strikes often. Pitch works best at the bottom of the zone. Paired it with a mid-60’s curveball with slurve-like action. Throwing the offering with confidence is key for the pitch to be successful. Very good student, as well.
