2022 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Mason Smith is a 2024 C/2B with a 5-6 115 lb. frame from Red Lion, PA who attends York Co School Of Technology. Smith worked exclusively from his primary spot behind the dish, successfully gaining ground in the footwork with plenty of room in the frame to develop and add arm strength. As a '24 grad, expect the mechanics to only continue to refine. Offensively, Smith started from a slightly open stance with compact hands to generate consistent contact to the middle of the field. He showcased the ability to cover the zone and go oppo with power potential continuing to become a factor in the future. Ran a 7.44 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
