Augustus Latting is a 2023 C with a 5-10 139 lb. frame from Memphis, TN who attends Whitehaven. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.85 runner in the sixty. Has some lower body life behind the plate and shifts well, can improve his footwork throwing the ball and working into his throws, compact high arm circle. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance with a high back elbow load, long and extended swing with some lift out front. Will continue to improve in all areas as he gets stronger, especially in his hands and arms. Good student.
