2023 Jr. National Showcase
CJ Oxendine is a 2025 C/SS with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Little River, SC who attends North Myrtle Beach High. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Has very athletic actions behind the plate, comes out of his crouch well, big arm strength with on line carry to the bag, game actions in drills, really projects well defensively as he gets stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a leg raise trigger, limited shift into contact, collapses his back side to create lift, uphill swing plane, creates some carry to the pull side, swings hard and has some quickness to his hands, will need to gain lots more strength to benefit from this approach. Chance to be a high level defensive player with development. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Virginia Tech.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
