Chase Mottley is a 2026 RHP/2B/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Atlee. Medium frame with lean current musculature and a lot of time to add mass and strength. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.75 seconds. Primary position RHP, working from the stretch only and setting hands at the letters before working extra shallow arm path to the top. High 3/4 arm angle with some life to his operation, creating FB up to 81 mph with some ride to it. Two distinct breakers with tight SL in the low-70s and 2,300+ spin, backed up by CB in the upper-60s with vertical depth. Crazy 4-pitch first inning in game action. Has feel for what he's doing on the bump with good projection left. Secondary OF, working deliberately through his reps, presenting glove out front into clean transfer. Accurate feeds with carry up to 82 mph here. RHH loading well into his backside pre-pitch with good handset and staying on time. Slight uphill path to impact and will roll over here and there. Showed some lofted juice to the pull side gap. Best impact was low, line-drives gap to gap. Outstanding student.
