LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (June 23)
Che Williams is a 2024 SS/RHP, IF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Drew Charter. Medium overall build with long limbs, high waist and lean muscularity with a lot of time to add and build strength. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.47 seconds. Primary position MIF, with elongated flowing actions as he works around the ball and uses a deep two hand gather to secure the ball. Glove work is smooth and on point, exchanging at the belt and works into a lengthier arm path to produce throws up to 73 mph across the diamond. Showed the ability to throw from varying slots and made consistently accurate throws in his work on the clay. RHH working from a narrow stance that is slightly open and employed a toe-tap trigger to get things started. High hand set with a bat tilt to get the hands activated and transfers weight well throughout the process. Emerging bat head control, producing nice line drives when on time. The components are there and with maturity we should continue to see the hit tool progress. Outstanding student and also has some skill on the mound as a two-way potential.
