Jakub Mudd is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Morrisville, NC who attends Cardinal Gibbons. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection ahead. 7.48 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense, has active feet and shows his athleticism, works through his throws very well and gets good young carry on his throws. Also played the outfield but his actions are better suited for the infield and his arm works better from there as well. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a lift and replace leg load and a big shoulder turn to start his swing, deep and low hand load, long and loose swing with good extension through contact, puts the ball in the air consistently and flashed his power when pulling, projects well as a hitter as he gets stronger. Also pitched, gets down the mound well with his lower half, multi-piece arm action with good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 74 mph with big running life at times. Showed good shape on his curveball and threw strikes with both pitches. Nice young athlete with tools in all areas.
