2005 World Showcase
Daniel Watters is a 2005 middle infielder from Highland Village, Texas, with a 6'0", 170 lb. frame. Defensively he used his foot speed to show very good range, and had solid actions. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with very good bat speed. Watters has good balance in his swing with some raw power, and good hand strength. He has quick hands at the plate and showed the ability to make adjustments. Watters had three hits during the showcase games while hitting off some very good pitchers. He showed his athleticism by running a 6.86, and ran the bases well with quickness and good instincts. Daniel is a very good student and his best baseball is yet to come.
