Connor Raney is a 2027 C/RHP, IF, OF, UT with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Ola. Thin and athletic looking build, will add size over time. Ran a 8.24 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sits fairly high, side saddle setup, gains ground, lower slot and release, quick and clean exchanges, accurate throws down to the bag, solid look and should continue to improve with size. Right-handed pitcher, short arm stroke, stays in line down the slope, fastball only diet here, working to find feel of the zone with consistency. Right-handed hitter, even and square base, high hands, high back elbow, very short stride, little lower half involvement, very hands driven approach here, contact oriented idea with this, backside contact for the majority of the round. Solid feel behind the dish and will improve in all facets with strength to the build.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
