Edward Peters is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-10 158 lb. frame from Aptos, CA who attends Aptos. Lean slender build with plenty of room to add more as he gets older. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.13 seconds. Primary infielder, showed off some athleticism, moved well laterally to both sides of the ball. Worked through the ball with smooth hands and a quick transition. Showed off his cannon on throws across the diamond, was clocked up to 85 mph. Still developing the accuracy. On the mound, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot, the fastball sat 71-79 mph with good life, threw strikes and attacked batters early. At the plate, hits from a wide even base with a leg kick trigger. Displayed a level swing with good bat speed, showed the ability to transfer his weight well staying long through the ball driving it back up the middle. Good student.
