Landan Johnson is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-10 144 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lakeland Christian. Medium, high waisted frame with a slender build and plenty of room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.31 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with anticipatory actions into the fielding process. Displays fundamentally sound footwork into the fielding process, fields properly off his front foot and works into release with slightly segmented transfer. Recorded arm strength up to 74 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked steadily in the low-70s with his fastball. Incorporates lower half well down the slope and works into a three-quarters arm lot. Strike thrower with attack mentality, mixed in developing breaking ball with some depth to disrupt timing, will continue to improve with mechanical refinements and additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and bigger forward stride into launch. Short, flatter swing path with pullside approach and developing bat-to-ball skills. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.
