CJ DiBenedetto is a 2024 RHP/IF, OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Southington, CT who attends Southington. The primary RHP showed his ability to be productive on the mound, touching 79 mph from a medium compact frame and low 3/4 slot. DiBenedetto displayed natural ASR and pounded the zone early and aggressively. He also flashed an 11-5 slurve that had some late break and kept hitters off balance due to good sequencing. DiBenedetto also worked from the infield, displaying clean hands with zip across the diamond. At the plate, the righty showed off some juice with tilt to the bat path and compact hand speed. He successfully used the middle and opposite fields with consistent contact. Ran a 8.35 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
