August Besemer is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Pinnacle. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.47 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, quick lift to trigger, limited lower half engagement, inside out swing path with opposite field approach. Primary catcher, sits back into set, stationary feet, quick transfer with one hop accuracy on throws, popped as low as 2.26 seconds. Also took infield reps, surrounds ball well and shows deeper funnel with hands, compact arm stroke, clocked up to 70 mph. Very good student.
