2006 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Jack McLindon is a 2009 MIF/RHP that attends Langley HS and resides in Great Fall, VA with a 5'7", 145 lb. frame. Jack has a lean build with a lot of room to fill out. At the plate Jack has an easy swing with a line-drive swing plane. He is a good contact hitter right now but lacks the strength and extension to really drive the ball. As he gets stronger he should be able to make some more adjustments at the plate. In the field Jack shows solid second base tools. He has good balance in the field but his arm strength is somewhat limited right now. Jack has a solid all-around game and is just waiting to get a little stronger. Jack should attract the attention of many smaller colleges in the next few years.
