Colin Keirns is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL who attends Sunlake. Long and lean frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.78 second 60 yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch, online arm action at take back up to an over the top arm slot, crossbody landing with front foot, gets over his front side but will improve consistency of strike zone feel with repeated mechanics. Fastball topped out at 76 mph on a downhill plane, best located to that armside of the plate, mixes in a curveball with big 1-7 shape, plenty of time to develop with things to like and project on long term on the mound. Secondary first baseman, young actions and picks the ball well. Also worked out in the outfield, fields the ball out in front with a 3/4 arm slot release, low effort release up to 76 mph from the position. Left-handed hitter, even stance in the box with a high hand set, loose swing with ease, creates a line drive swing plane through the hitting zone, all comes off well and projects for power as he fills out.
