Michael Colon is a 2026 RHP/3B/MIF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Scarsdale, NY who attends Iona Preparatory. Young, athletic build with room to add strength as he matures. Ran a 7.27 sixty yard dash. Primary pitcher. Uses simple, repeatable mechanics with a knee to chest leg kick and smooth tempo down the mound. Lands on line with a clean and efficient arm circle to a high 3/4 release. Gets good extension for his size and is comfortable working to his glove side with all offerings. Fastball topped at 80 mph with some carry behind it. Confident in using a sweeping curveball with consistent finish down and to the glove side. Filled up the strike zone and missed bats with his arsenal. Waits back on the ball and field it off to the side in the outfield, made accurate throws with carry behind them. Also worked out in the infield, sound actions moving to the ball with clean glove work out front, makes the plays with accuracy on throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high back elbow. Direct path to the ball with best contact going to the middle of the field. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
