Giuseppe (Joey) Galasso is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-5 248 lb. frame from Cutler Bay, FL who attends Miami Southridge. Extra-large frame with lots of present physicality. Ran an 8.00 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, slower paced delivery but has good balance and controls the body well, very good arm speed through an extended three-quarters slot and showed solid feel for two pitches. Fastball comes out well as he commands it to both halves in the low-80s while showing feel to spin a short vertical breaking ball with good spin to it. Secondary first baseman, simple actions with some feel to move around the bag, arm strength creates clean throws across. Lefthanded hitter, loads deep and uncoils on a slightly lifted path, has some strength when he impacts it but is developing consistency of the barrel.
