Alexander Burnell is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends Foster. Medium frame with compact build, ran 60 yard dash in 7.09 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance, toe tap trigger into stride, looseness to stroke with easy bat speed, consistently solid swings with feel for the barrel, will improve with continued strength gains. Worked out in the infield, deliberate pace to actions, plays under control, showed range to both sides, clocked up to 80 mph on throws across. Good student.
