2023 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Torrance Cooper is a 2024 C/MIF, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Egg Harbor Township, NJ who attends Holy Spirit. Compact current build with solid muscularity and some time to continue to add physicality. Primary position C, sitting well into his stance with good flexibility. Glove work is solid leading to tight midline transfer. Quick short arm path building throws up to 71 mph and putting ball on the bag with regularity. Foot work is quick and inline. Produced accurate throws regularly with a pop time best of 2.04 seconds. RHH working from a slightly open stance and in legs. Generates excellent torque through the core and shows loose whip to barrel. Lightening quick hands with good consistency to impact. Ball gets off barrel quickly and there is pull side pop for sure. Offensive back stop profile here. Really good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
