Colton Dabkowski is a 2028 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Round Hill, VA who attends Woodgrove. Young, projectable frame with a high waist and plenty of room to fill out. Recorded a 7.90 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a developing defensive skill set. Works downhill through the baseball, fields slightly off to the side and worked into a lower arm slot. Recorded arm strength up to 69 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed hitter that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Simple, repeatable delivery with belt high leg lift and shorter stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 60s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 67 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Developing command of the strike zone that will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Took part in the infield portion of the defensive workout, where he showed a similar developing defensive skill set. Displayed a deeper funnel to field out in-front, while showcasing arm strength up to 69 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hanging leg lift trigger. Compact, line drive stroke with some quickness to his hands, some feel for the barrel and consistent contact. Uses the whole field effectively, repeats his swing well and will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments. Young, developing prospect with upside on both sides of the baseball, will continue to improve with additional strength and maturity.
