Mario Martinez is a 2022 OF/ with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Lawrence, MA who attends Lawrence. Recorded a 4.96 second forty-yard dash. The primary outfielder fields the ball a little to the side with the glove, has a clean transfer, and displays good glove action while accurately throwing to the bases at a recorded 79 mph. Martinez has a good athletic frame with apparent athleticism and needs a bit more drive through the ball. The right handed hitter steps into the box with a slightly open stance and an even hand set, loads his hands pre pitch with a short stride to contact, and has a lofted swing with some barrel control while working the ball middle to opposite field approach. Great student.
