Edward McLeod is a 2025 3B/1B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends St. Paul's Episcopal. Recorded a 7.67 second sixty yard dash time. Large frame with a strong and physical build. Primary third baseman, bends at the waist to field and the hands work well out front. Some stiffness to the actions but moves well for his size, developing lateral range, shows clean glove work. Has functional athleticism and will continue to improve moving forward. Right-handed hitter with a balanced and in line stance, utilizes a no stride trigger with limited load in the hands or lower half. Stretch and fire-type approach, tends to just turn hard and throw the hands. Limited lower half usage, keeps the feet in place, the hands work well and he has some feel for the barrel. Ball comes off hard, has obvious strength in the box with definite power potential as he continues to clean some things up and create separation within the swing. Good student.
