Chris Rodriguez is a 2025 2B/3B, OF with a 5-0 105 lb. frame from El Campo, TX who attends El Campo. Young, square shouldered frame, lean build with room to fill throughout and develop moving forward. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, shows balance to actions in the dirt, fields out front and works into a shorter arm action, young actions and arm strength will continue to develop on throws across. Aggressive to the ball in the outfield, fields the ball out front, works into a similar short arm action through back working to a lower slot, taller release and can continue to incorporate additional lower half into release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a square stance with a high hand set and back elbow; utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Keeps hands inside on swing, stays short and direct to the ball, can get more extension in swing. Contact oriented approach, best when working on a linear plane.
