Jeremy Espinal is a 2024 SS/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Yonkers, NY who attends Cardinal Spellman HS. Recorded a 7.10 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame with a lean build and room to fill. Primary shortstop with short steps and quick feet. Moves well at the position with throws up to 83 mph across the diamond. Funnel to the throwing hand is clean with good accuracy across. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Compact stroke with a consistent feel for the barrel. Low effort strike and can hit line drives to all parts of the field. Power will come with added strength but controls shorter levers well to show barrel accuracy. Good student.
