Connor Maupin is a 2027 MIF/SS with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Maineville, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Hits from upright stance with even base, barrel tends to wrap a bit at the top of the load, gets barrel on plane and shows whip with bat speed through the zone, gets hips through and works the middle, solid hitting traits. Worked out defensively in the infield, athletic look with good movement patterns, quick footwork and easy hands, can throw accurately from multiple arm slots, clocked up to 76 mph on throws across. Very good student, named to 2023 Ohio Valley Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
