2023 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Charlie Urbanowicz is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Middletown, NJ who attends Middletown South. Urbanowicz works from a medium lean build from the OF, showcasing clean glove work with a full loose arm action to ultimately top out at 77 mph. He worked through the ball effectively and consistently put throws on the bag. At 1B, he displayed a clean deep fielding funnel and made plays asked of him, topping out at 72 mph across the diamond. Expect arm strength to only increase in the future. Offensively, the lefty started from a wider slightly crouched stance with flashes of barrel extension to produce his best impact to the pull side of the field. Urbanowicz showcased a line drive bat path through the zone and should see consistency improve as the barrel control refines. Posted an exit velo of 77 mph. Ran a 5.23 forty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
