Michael Milo is a 2023 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from West Sayville, NY who attends Sayville. Recorded a 5.06 second forty-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with a high waist and plenty of room to fill out. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set; uses his first step quickness to move well laterally, exhibiting clean glove actions out in front to field. Displays clean gather and transfer into a well-maintained crow-hop to get into throwing position. Recorded arm strength up to 80 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch. Simple, repeatable delivery with high hand set, high leg lift and good lower half movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-70s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 75 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Creates some deception and arm-side run due to slight stab on the backside of the arm swing. Mixed in developing breaking ball that varied in shape and showed loose spin traits. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, open stance with high hand set, high back elbow and inward hover trigger. Contact oriented stroke with flatter swing path, consistent bat-to-ball skills and occasional line drive impact to the middle and pull-side. Displays developing feel for the barrel and high contact rate, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
