Tyrus Ostrowski is a 2027 OF/RHP/C with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Port Chester, NY who attends Brunswick. Young athletic build with room to add strength. Ran a 7.53 in the sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, clean arm stroke with an uphill release, carries momentum through his throws with good foot work, up to 79 mph in outfield drills, good overall actions. Also pitched, high hand set with a high leg kick, simple and clean mechanics, over the top release, big carry to the fastball in the high 70's, fastball has lift and life in the zone creating a ton of swing and miss, curveball had depth and 11-5 shape that tunneled well. Switch hitter, similar stance from both sides, spread stance with tight hands, minimal weight shift and stride, feel for the barrel with a direct path, showed the ability to pull the baseball hard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
