Leandro Ordonez is a 2023 3B/RHP, 1B, SS with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Palmetto Ridge. Long, lanky build with tons of room to fill out as he continues to mature physically. Recorded a 7.34-second sixty-time. Primary third baseman, tends to wait back on the ball, bending at the waist, could carry his momentum through his throws more. Some stiffness throughout in actions, could improve his mobility. Accurate throws across the diamond, up to 78 mph on his throws. Secondary right-handed pitcher, uses his large frame to work downhill from a higher arm slot. Works down in the zone with his heater, ranged 75-79 mph, topping out at 80 mph. Some feel for his breaking ball that flashed short depth to it. Pitched to contact and allowed fielders to make plays for him. Right-handed hitter, balanced, open stance. Short, compact stroke with some quickness to his hands. Flashed some barrel whip when on time with the barrel, worked the ball to all fields during round of BP. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
