Calvin Junek is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-4 167 lb. frame from Sebastian Fl, FL who attends Sebastian River. Ran a 7.71 second 60 yard dash. A primary righthanded pithcer with a long lean build with room to fill in the frame. On the mound he has a controlled delivery maintianing a good line to the plate while doing a nice job of keeping his front side closed. the fastball sat 73-76 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot, mixed in a mid 60's slider with depth at times and the ability to stay off the barrel. At first base he showed a developing footwork on the double play feeds and solid hands working well out fornt of the body. At the plate, his righthanded swing starts with a wide base and high hands, showed a groove bat path with working up the middle at his best with line drives.
