Nicholas Koenig is a 2022 1B/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Wilson. He ran a 7.39 second sixty. A primary first baseman with a large build. At first base he showed firm hands with developing footwork and a longer gather into his throws, the throws showed accuracy with average carry on the double play feeds. Right-handed hitter, starts even and strides into contact lading heavy on the form side at times, the barrel works steeper into the zone pinching down on the baseball and producing some had hit line drives when the barrel head is able to get our front. He will see more consistent hard contact with better timing of the leg lift. Very good student. Named to the 2021 California Workout Camp Session 5 Top Prospect List.
