Garret Allen is a 2024 IF/RHP, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends Yorba Linda. Medium athletic frame with quality traits defensively. Athletic mover in both directions; feel for the backhad stood out. The glove plays with lots of feel to funnel. Clean ar stroke with accurate rips across the diamond. At the plate, he sets up with wide base and decent feel for the barrel. Gains extension to impact with approach geared through the middle. Power potential is evident with already present pull side thump. Athlete on the mound with easy three quarters release and quality pitchabillty of a depthy 12-6 breaker. THe fastball shows downward approach angle with solid command to the glove side especially. Splitty employs tumbling action down in the zone and produced frequent whiffs. Really good spin killing split. Plus offering. 7.33 60-yard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
