Stone Tucker is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Winchester, CA who attends Vista Murrieta. Recorded a 7.73 second sixty yard dash time. Tall and high waisted frame, lanky build with room to fill, very projectable body. Primary catcher with a high and side straddle set up, has some explosiveness out of his crouch. High intent thrower, tends to stand straight up to throw and gains limited ground, has some tools to project on moving forward. Also worked out in the infield, has some feel for the glove with developing foot quickness, has a good chance to improve. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a semi-windup delivery. Fair amount of effort throughout. High ¾ arm slot with quick arm speed. Short, clean arm path. Creates solid deception with high leg kick and slight shoulder twist. Frame and arm slot create solid downhill plane. Struggles to repeat delivery. Fastball sat 71-74 mph with slight armside run. Works well to the armside. Gets in on RHH well. Occasionally will run too much. Still refining command. Threw a fair amount of strikes but struggled to spot up. Loses control for spurts. Movement allows him to miss barrels fairly often. Curveball sat 58-60 mph. Lacks feel and confidence for pitch. Spiked pitch often. The frame is projectable with some things to like with the mechanics. Needs to continue to develop stuff. Right-handed hitter with a long and loopy swing path on an uphill plane, shows developing hand quickness. Tends to get shift his weight too far forward, has some fluidity to the swing, flashed carry to the pull side gap, has potential with added bat speed. Great student.
