Luke Skinner is a 2024 SS/C, 2B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Woodbury, MN who attends East Ridge. Recorded a 6.95 sixty yard dash at the event. Medium athletic build with wiry strength in the frame. Primary infielder, Skinner fields the ball cleanly out front with funnels through the middle of his body well. Shows good footwork on the infield and ability to have range to either side. Throws are accurate, and have carry across the infield. Left handed hitter in the box. Skinner hits from a square stance with a slightly open front side. He utilizes a large leg kick to generate power throughout the swing. Mostly a middle-pull side approach with good barrel control. Shows snap in the barrel with good projectability in his hit tools. High upside athlete. Good Student. Named to the 2022 Midwest Prospect Showcase Top Prospect list.
