Patrick Curtis is a 2023 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Alexander. Strong athletic catcher's build. 7.26 runner in the sixty. Sets up low behind the plate, has nice fundamental actions that he repeats well, good exchange and release, gains ground well throwing and makes accurate throws, 2.03 pop in drills, 2.09 on a game caught stealing. Right handed hitter, big barrel wrap with a high hand load, high leg raise trigger that can be late and inconsistent, has the strength to generate bat speed but will have to make adjustments in order to have timing, best contact was to right center field. Defense is ahead of his offense at this point. Good student.
